The 2026 WRWF grant to St. Luke's Wood River Foundation supports bringing Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) technology to St. Luke's Wood River. ABUS significantly improves breast cancer detection for women with dense breast tissue, a group for whom traditional mammography can miss up to one third of cancers. Bringing this technology to the Wood River Valley will enhance early detection and expand access to high-quality imaging.
