Field Trip with our 2026 Grantee Wood River Trails Coalition!

Come and visit the site of one of our 2026 Grantee Projects! The WRWF granted $20,000 toward the Wood River Trails Coalition's Fox Creek Bridge Replacement Project, and now it's time to see our dollars in action. After meeting at the Fox Creek Trailhead at 9 am, we will walk one mile up the trail to the project site. We will encounter preparation work for the installation of the bridge, and will be able to see the footings that the bridge will be settled on.

Please wear sturdy shoes, and if you bring a dog, you must bring a leash to control them around the project site. We also recommend bringing a light pack with a water bottle and (of course) your phone to take photos!

This outing will include two total miles of hiking, and will take approximately 2 hours, with time for site review, hiking, photos, and introductions at the parking lot.

This event is limited to the first 20 participants. Please make sure you register if you would like to attend. Parking could be limited so if possible please carpool!
